Your 2 factor ID won’t allow me to scroll up to access the request text button. I just get the upper border of both buttons. If course the “cancel” button works fine but the one needed to get a text apparently only works if I hit a very specific part of the upper border. Maybe you could allow me to scroll, or at least allow the app to go into landscape mode so I can access the button? If not then the app is useless to me and will not be renewed.

I’m not a fan of the constant verification codes when I’m trying to use the app. There is already a Face ID. We have more then one driver that uses this car, and only one email to send the code to, or phone number. If I can’t reach my husband , I can’t verify its use. Absolutely awful!!!’

Kia Connect is far too expensive for an app that only works when it feels like it. The biggest issue is reliability. I’ll send an unlock command, the app says the vehicle unlocked, but when I get to the car, it’s still locked. The same thing happens with lock commands. The app says the vehicle is locked, but it’s actually not.
Remote start is even worse. The app frequently tells me the vehicle is running, only for me to walk outside and find that the car never started at all.
For the price Kia charges for this service, it should work every single time. Instead, it’s a frustrating guessing game. An app that controls critical vehicle functions needs to be dependable, and unfortunately Kia Connect simply isn’t.

Like the massive bulky physical key for my EV6, this app takes forever to log in and do the obvious, everyday things like unlocking, charging, starting. It has too many features and is not seamless or natural in its every day utility. This app is only helpful as backup, not as every day access. It has lots to learn from other EV access apps such as Tesla.

No matter where I am, the lock/unlock feature is very unreliable. It only works less than half the time. It will say it’s locked, only to find out it’s unlocked. It will also say it is unlocked when it is not. We can’t ever trust it! And you can’t lock the car without the key, so that’s really unsafe! We once went out of town and my car remained unlocked for a weekend because there was no way to lock it without the fob (my neighbor checked it several times and tried locking it with the button) and the app wouldn’t work!!!!

★☆☆☆☆ Kia Connect Activation Flow Is Completely Broken
Update: I contacted customer service again, and unfortunately they still cannot provide any timeline for a fix. The only information I was given is that there is an issue with my account.
At this point, it has been over 3 days and I still cannot log into the app.
Whoever worked on the activation/deactivation flow needs to seriously revisit this feature.
For the past two days, Kia Connect has been completely unavailable for me. There was no notice, no explanation, and no ETA provided. The activation flow is confusing, unreliable, and leaves customers with no visibility into what’s happening.
The whole purpose of Kia Connect is convenience and remote access to the vehicle, but when the service goes down or activation fails, customers are left stranded with no information. It’s incredibly frustrating to pay for a connected service that can suddenly stop working without any communication from Kia.
At a minimum, Kia should:
* Provide proactive outage notifications.
* Give clear status updates and estimated resolution times.
* Improve the activation/deactivation experience so users aren’t stuck in limbo.
* Consider compensation when customers lose access to paid services for multiple days.
This experience has been disappointing and has significantly reduced my confidence in Kia

Basic remote start if equipped, lock, and unlock from a phone is not a premium feature anymore. It is basic. Ford has been doing this seamlessly for over five years for free. The fact that Kia wants to charge a subscription fee after the trial for this broken, slow piece of junk is an absolute embarrassment.
The Kia Access app feels as bad as it looks too. It is the slowest, most static app on my phone. There is zero button responsiveness, no feedback, and it takes 30 seconds of spinning just to figure out if a command went through. Half the time it just logs you out or freezes on a blank loading screen.
To top it off, the virtual assistant is completely useless. I asked it a simple question: "Do I have an appointment scheduled today?" it vomited five paragraphs of text explaining how to book an appointment and pick a preferred dealer. It didn’t even answer the question.
Remarkably unintuitive, lazy execution, exactly like my experience shopping with Kia. Not surprised. But hey I am throwing in my application to vibe code the Kia access app! Couple days tops!

I have adjusted to the differences like adaptive cruise and lane control but the fact that I’ve been locked out with my keys and phone inside by unlocking passenger door and shutting to have it self lock me out..call me stranded .. the dash board causes so much danger by having to switch off between heat and air controls an media.. drop some of those useless options and lay down the virtual window and make it a single view also the lock out wheel button is too close to gear shift and I’ve accident hitting while not noticing and the driving too fast in 4 wheel.. this cockpit design is a fiasco as well as glare to outside mirrors from inside lighting and sun on chrome blocking views for passing

Kia discontinued the eServices (UVO) app in May and encourages Kia owners who had been using it to download this app instead. DON’T BOTHER. It is useless. I mean, I can log in, and it has my vehicle listed as linked to my account, but it doesn’t actually DO anything. (I don’t NEED or WANT an app to make a service appointment, that’s what I have a bleeping phone for.) My car runs regular monthly diagnostics but can no longer upload the results to my account, which is the main thing you want an app like this for. So the old app doesn’t work anymore, and the new app doesn’t do anything. Might as well delete them all. What a slap in the face to longtime Kia owners.

I didn't want to do this in a review, but the link for app support is broken, so here I am: Since the last update, the app doesn't work at all. Every time I tap on it, it opens halfway and then crashes. This has been the case for over a week, very frustrating. I've uninstalled and reinstalled in an attempt to get it working again, but nope.
But since I'm writing a review, I will also mention that I frequently get messages that the command I've entered "cannot be completed at this time," often enough that I decided not to pay money for any of the upgraded options. Not paying for features that often can't even be used, due to poor app functionality.
The immediate issue is to repair the app so at least it will work again, but in the long run make it function better overall.

I was never told the car came with a free trial, then one day my app stopped working. I couldn’t start the car or do ANYTHING with the app. The dealership said it needed an update so I had them do the update, only to be told by someone who works for the app company when I called to have everything set back up that if I want to use all the features (really and truthfully any of the apps features other than checking the status of the car) I would have to sign up for a subscription, costing either $19.99/month or $14.99/month on top of my already extremely high monthly car note. They have lost their minds if they think I’m doing that. I may have considered it at one time years ago before the world turned into nothing but greedy, power hungry, corporate corruption, but definitely not now, and ONLY if the app would allow the car to be remotely started lasting for 30 minutes like my husband’s FREE Ford app does for his F-150. I have only personally owned Kia vehicles and if I didn’t have so much negative equity in the car I would probably be willing to trade it in for a different brand. But I can’t even trade it in for another Kia without having my payments go from $850/month to $1500/month, which is the same as my monthly mortgage! So no I do NOT recommend this app after the free trial.

Salesman set up App on 2026 Kia Sportage Prestige. I've had it 9 months. The screen goes black and says I need to set up my key fob. It's already set up. I have to hit ok and the previous screen appears. Also if I use the App to unlock my doors it takes so long to do this I would be mugged waiting on the doors to unlock. I use it for my EV6, and the most frustrating part of it is the length of time it takes to login, repeated login requests *while using* the app, and the length of time it takes to send, process & complete mobile requests. Horrible experience. I rented a Kia and was forced to make a profile. I'm doing so, I was enrolled in a trial subscription. after turning in the car, I was unable to delete my profile and couldn't end the subscription. Kia support said I had to download the app to delete the profile and end the subscription, but I still couldn't. I could still see the car I turned in and could remotely start/stop the car and see its location. It took Kia support days to remove my account and end the trial.

Works well for most things. My calendar syncs and shows properly in the app, but the car's head unit reports 'No Linked Calebdar. Add a calender to be linked from the Kia Connect application on your phone.' My calendar is linked and sync is enabled. Fix this issue and I would give it 5 stars.

I'm getting messages on the instrument cluster. One was saying the washer fluid was low. Easy enough. Another said something about front sensor. I thought they would show up on the app for me to address, but neither one shows. The cluster keeps beeping at me. I also noticed that the app would say my car was unlocked when it wasn't. TIP: It's not an instant update. If you check the time, it was probably earlier. Refresh and it will correct.

there is no shuttle service at all Kia dealerships / service department. When signing up for a vehicle service, this is listed as a possible option regardless of which location you choose. You have the surprise of no transportation option. Also, you are given standard options of services which included services I did not even see listed on the app, that I did not want. It took 30 minutes on hold to speak with someone at Kia connect. Then I was told I was not at Kia connect, but had to be connected with Kia connect. That took another 10 minutes. I paid a $150 for this "service". My problem was that I had lost voice commands, which I had had since I bought the car 2 years ago. I now had to update the software to the premium version. It seems to me that kia is just trying to make more money from raising the price.

I liked it at first but now instead of just pulling up my Kia it keeps pulling up an option for another one so I have to clock on mine every time. it also no longer will lock my doors remotely at all. I hope it gets fixed soon

I have a 2023 Kia EV6 that's the Limited Edition Deep Forest Green. It shows as Green on the website, on my partners iPhone app, but on Android it shows as white. I know it's a minor thing but it makes me sad. Fix this and I'll update this rating to 5 stars.

It has a spotty lapse of communication with my 2025 Sorento. It keeps sending me notifications that my car isn't locked when it is. I use the handle to lock the doors 99% of the time, so I can see & hear that it's been locked. No rhyme or reason to it. Doesn't happen every time I lock it, happens anywhere I may park-not just one particular place where service may be spotty-sometimes 10 mins to an hour after locking the doors. When I physically check the status I confirm it's locked each time.
